AO “Pharm-Sintez” participated in the “Controversial Issues of Neurology Conference” held in Novosibirsk on March 30, 2012, hosted by the Department of clinical neurology and algology at the Novosibirsk State Medical University (NSMU, State educational institute of the higher professional education) of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation, headed by Prof. P.I. Pilipenko.
Current approaches to pharmacotherapy in treatment of the central nervous system vascular diseases were discussed as part of the conference`s schedule. Particular attention was paid to neuroprotection in the urgent neurological syndromes. Lection of the doctor of medical science, professor of the Neurology, Neurosurgery and Medical genetics department of the Kemerovo State Medical Academy of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation (KemGMA, State budget educational institution of the higher professional education), leading researcher of the neurovascular pathology laboratory of the multifocal atherosclerosis department of the Federal State Unitary enterprise “NII KPCCZ” (research institute of CVD of the Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Medical Sciences), member of the managing board of the Russian national neurologists association, chairman of the regional neurologists association, head of the Russian collaborating center on new prospects in stroke pharmacotherapy and peptide neuroprotector Cellex pre-clinical and clinical study results attracted major interest.
Conference participants showed keen interest in the Cellex product. AO “Pharm-Sintez” representatives, at the company`s booth, consulted doctors on specifics for treating stroke patients with the product in acute and early recovery stage. Neurologists from various Russian cities eagerly anticipate the time when product enters national market.
