On May 25-27, 2011, Volgograd welcomed the XI Congress of the Russian Federation surgeons.
New ideas and technologies in surgery, emergency vascular surgery, problems in gastrointestinal bleeding treatment were the main subjects of the congress.
“Pharm-Sintez” presented on the congress two reports: “Prospects in treatment of esophagus-intestinal bleedings of cirrhotic origin with innovation technologies” (prof. Y.V. Khoronko, Rostov); “Octreotide and Octreotide-depo in prevention of post-surgical pancreatitis in radical gastric cancer surgery” (candidate of medical sciences D.V. Vychuzhanin, Moscow).
