On April 16-18, 2009, Abzakovo mountain ski center in the Republic of Bashkortostan, welcomed the IV Russian Science Theory and Practice Conference “Current Issues in Urology. Prostate Diseases. New Technologies in Urology”.
AO “Pharm-Sintez” company presented its booth with information on products, used in urology and oncourology.
On the plenary session “Current oncourology issues. Prostate cancer” professor Igor Georgievich Rusakov, doctor of medical sciences, head of the Oncourology department of P.Herzen Moscow Oncology Research Institute, talked about experience in using Octreotide-depo product in hormone refractory prostate cancer.
In the same session professor Alexander Vladimirovich Zyryanov, doctor of medical sciences, in his report “Prostate cancer treatment in the group of patients with high risk of prostate cancer progression” highly praised role of alpha1-adrenergic blocker Tamsulon-FC as accompanying therapy, as well as role of LHRH agonist Buserelinum-depo in complex therapy prior to radiation/brachytherapy.
