On March 10-11, 2009, Science Theory and Practice Conference “Pharmaceutical Therapy in Endocrinology” was held in Moscow. Qualified endocrinologists and doctors from associated fields from Moscow and Russian regions attended the conference. Thematic exposition of pharmaceutical products was presented as part of the conference. “Pharm-Sintez” company presented its own booth with information on acromegaly treatment drug Octreotide-depo which attracted great interest from conference participants. On the breakout session “Endocrinal diseases diagnostic and treatment” Pronin V.S., candidate of medical sciences, HoD of the endocrinology department in I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, presented report “Acromegaly drug treatment”. Report showed positive results of Octreotide-depo clinical study.
